About the venue

Filmhuset on Gärdet in Stockholm is the Swedish Film Institute's main building, designed by Peter Celsing and opened in 1970. It houses Grand biografen, one of the city's best-known cinemas for arthouse films, retrospectives and festivals. The building also contains archives, a library and offices for the Swedish film industry.
