About the venue

Konstakademien - the Royal Academy of Fine Arts - was founded in 1735 and is one of Sweden's oldest cultural institutions. It occupies a neoclassical palace on Fredsgatan in central Stockholm, hosting exhibitions, seminars and award ceremonies related to the visual arts. The premises open to the public during selected events.
