The Royal Palace in Stockholm is one of the largest palaces in Europe, with over 600 rooms. Built in baroque style during the 18th century to designs by Nicodemus Tessin the Younger, it serves as the official residence of the Swedish monarch. Parts of the palace are open to visitors, housing several museums including the Treasury and the Tre Kronor Museum.
