Livrustkammaren - the Royal Armoury - is one of Sweden's oldest museums, founded in 1628 by King Gustav II Adolf and housed in the vaults beneath the Royal Palace. Its collections span royal armour, coronation regalia, court costumes and carriages, tracing Swedish royal history across four centuries.
