About the venue

Lugnet is Falun's main sports and outdoor complex, situated just outside the city centre. It includes a biathlon and cross-country skiing stadium, ski jumping hills and an athletics track. The venue has hosted several major international competitions, including the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1974 and 1993.
