About the venue

Nordiska Akvarellmuseet in Skärhamn on the island of Tjörn is one of Europe's foremost museums dedicated to watercolour and paper-based art. The building, completed in 2000 and designed by architects Niels Bruun and Jan Henriksson, sits right at the water's edge. The museum hosts a rotating programme of Nordic and international exhibitions.
