Riddarhuset, on the island of Riddarholmen in Stockholm, is one of Sweden's finest surviving baroque palaces, built in the 17th century as the assembly hall of the Swedish nobility. Its great hall is lined with thousands of coats of arms. Today the building hosts ceremonies, concerts and cultural events.
