About the venue

Sankt Nicolai ruin is what remains of a 13th-century Dominican friary church in Visby. Abandoned after the Reformation, its tall Gothic walls have survived the centuries largely intact. During summer the roofless shell serves as an open-air stage, hosting concerts and performances - most notably during the annual Medieval Week.
