About the venue

Stockholm Olympic Stadium was built for the 1912 Summer Olympics and ranks among the best-preserved Olympic venues in the world. Architect Torben Grut designed its distinctive red-brick facade and twin towers. The stadium still hosts athletics competitions and major concerts, and serves as the home ground of IFK Stockholm's athletics club.
