The Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities, founded in 1926 and housed in an 18th-century building on Skeppsholmen, holds one of Europe's most significant collections of Chinese art and archaeology. The permanent collection spans neolithic ceramics, bronzes, jade and Buddhist sculpture from China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia.
