About the venue

Varberg Fortress is a medieval coastal stronghold in Varberg, built in the 13th century and one of the best-preserved fortresses in Sweden. Over the centuries it served as a royal residence, military installation and prison. Today it houses a regional museum and hosts open-air concerts and cultural events during summer.
