Ankor is a Catalonia-based alternative metal band formed in 2003 in Els Pallaresos, a village near Barcelona, with a multicultural lineup that includes British vocalist Jessie Williams, Greek drummer Eleni Nota, and Spanish guitarists and bassist. After signing with Australian label UNFD in 2024 and releasing the mini-album Shoganai, the band broke through to major European festival stages - Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Tuska, and Resurrection Fest among them - and completed a sold-out 17-country headline tour in early 2025.
Ankor released 'DANZO · lying ghost' (March 2026), a collaboration with MAH from Japanese band SiM, via UNFD.
Ankor embarked on their first-ever North American tour in April 2026, supporting Bloodywood on the System Of A Brown tour.
Ankor released the single 'NAGATO · purple eyes' in January 2026, the second track inspired by a villain from the Naruto anime/manga series.
Ankor released the single 'MADARA · endless dream' in September 2025.
Ankor completed their biggest-ever headline EU/UK tour in February-March 2025, covering 17 countries with several sold-out shows.
