British reggae legends Aswad perform at Palladium. With five decades on stage and classics like "Don't Turn Around" and "Shine", they rank among Europe's most influential reggae bands.
Aswad are a British reggae group formed in Ladbroke Grove, West London, in 1975 - the first British reggae act to sign with a major label when Island Records took them on in 1976. Their sound blended roots reggae with soul, funk and R&B, and in 1988 their cover of "Don't Turn Around" reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. Three-time Grammy nominees, they have released over 21 albums across five decades and remain one of the most enduring acts to emerge from the London reggae scene.
Aswad are scheduled to play the London Ska and Reggae Festival at Forest Road Recreation Ground in Hainault.
Aswad are booked for The Brit Fest 2026 in Manchester and Boogietown 2026 in Walton-on-Thames.
