Gotland Chamber Music Festival
Gotland Chamber Music Festival brings together international classical musicians during week 30. The festival opens with a piano evening featuring Staffan Scheja and cellist Antonio Roland.
Clarice Granado is a Swedish soprano born in Stockholm in 1997, with Chilean roots on her mother's side. She trained at Adolf Fredrik's School of Music and Lilla Akademien before studying musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York on a scholarship, then completed her opera degree at the University College of Opera in Stockholm in 2024. Her operatic debut came in 2022 at Vadstena-Akademien in the title role of Pollarolo's baroque opera Il Colore fa la Regina, and she has since performed at Folkoperan, Uppsala Stadsteater and with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
Clarice Granado was awarded the 2026 Hjördis Schymberg scholarship of 40,000 SEK, given by the soloists of the Royal Opera in Stockholm.
Granado sang the role of Pamina in Die Zauberflöte at Folkoperan in Stockholm and at Uppsala Stadsteater, and was awarded Folkoperan's Friends soloist scholarship for the performance.
Granado performed as soprano soloist in Carmina Burana with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra at Gothenburg Concert Hall.
Granado graduated from the University College of Opera (SKH Opera) in Stockholm and performed in Carmina Burana at Folkoperan to considerable acclaim.
Granado received the Anders Wall Giresta scholarship of 125,000 SEK, including a solo concert at Giresta kyrka.
