Dag Rosenqvist is a Swedish musician, composer and sound artist based in Gothenburg, active since 2005 under his own name and the alias Jasper TX (retired 2012). With over 50 releases spanning ambient, drone and experimental electronics, he also composes for dance, theatre and film - including the A24 feature Menashe (2017) and a ballet that premiered at the Royal Opera House in London. Since 2011 he has recorded as one half of the electro-acoustic duo From the Mouth of the Sun alongside American cellist Aaron Martin, and is a member of the Swedish trio Småland.
Rosenqvist released the solo EP 'Still a prison of this virtual space' in January 2026, a work also connected to a visual art exhibition in Gothenburg.
He released 'Musiken ur föreställningen Henrik Fexeus Mentalisten' on 10 November 2025, a full score he composed for Henrik Fexeus's nationwide theatre tour.
The solo album 'Tvåhundra ord för ensamhet' was released in April 2025.
From the Mouth of the Sun released 'In Wind or Dust' in February 2025, receiving an 84 user score on Album of the Year.
The solo album 'Geographers of Solitude' was released in August 2024.
