PAUS: Morgonkonsert // Småland

The trio Småland plays instrumental pop on harmonium and piano, blended with electronic elements, syntarpeggios, and lo-fi ambient. The group features Dag Rosenqvist, Christian Hutchinson Berg, and Thobias Eidevald.

Formed in 2017, the band has released records on the American label Cloister Recordings and the Swedish Coop Records Visby. Their third album Oro och ältande, with cover art by visual artist Ragnar Persson, comes out in spring 2026 on Pomperipossa Records.

The members are well-established figures on the music scene. Dag Rosenqvist has released numerous albums since 2005 and created music for dance performances and films. Since 2010, he has collaborated with American musician Aaron Martin on the project From the Mouth of the Sun. Christian Hutchinson Berg is one half of the synthpop duo Kite, recently known for Kite on ice, which sold out Avicii Arena. Thobias Eidevald was formerly a member of Agent Side Grinder and is also one half of the post-kraut project Domus.
