About
Dan Hylander (born 21 June 1954 in Malmö) is a Swedish singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer whose commercial breakthrough came in the early 1980s with Raj Montana Band alongside Py Bäckman. He won the Rockbjörnen award as Sweden's best male artist in 1984, and his albums 'Bella notte', 'Calypso' and '...om änglar och sjakaler' went gold and platinum. Beyond his own career he has written and produced for artists including Tomas Ledin, Totta Näslund and Sven-Ingvars, cementing his reputation as one of Sweden's most influential songwriters.
