Violinist Daniel Lozakovich performs Bach's solo violin works at Storkyrkan, culminating in the majestic Chaconne.
Daniel Lozakovich (born 1 April 2001 in Stockholm) is a Swedish classical violinist of Belarusian-Kyrgyz heritage who rose to international prominence as a child prodigy. He made his solo debut at nine under Vladimir Spivakov, and at 15 became the youngest artist ever signed to Deutsche Grammophon. He has since performed with orchestras including the Boston Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic and Münchner Philharmoniker, working alongside conductors such as Andris Nelsons, Klaus Mäkelä and Valery Gergiev.
Lozakovich premiered Pascal Dusapin's violin concerto 'Flying River' at Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris, with Ensemble Utopia conducted by Teodor Currentzis.
Lozakovich is touring Europe with Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and conductor Tarmo Peltokoski in the 2025/26 season.
Lozakovich began a residency with the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra in 2026.
Lozakovich signed an exclusive contract with Warner Classics and released a duo album with pianist Mikhail Pletnev featuring works by Franck, Grieg, Shostakovich and Shor/Pletnev.
Lozakovich appeared with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under Klaus Mäkelä on tour in Korea, and performed with the Helsinki Philharmonic among other orchestras.
