David Eugene Edwards (born 1968, Englewood, Colorado) is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, best known as the founder and frontman of 16 Horsepower - the Denver band that pioneered gothic country in the 1990s by fusing bluegrass, gospel and Appalachian instrumentation with rock.
