David Eugene Edwards

David Eugene Edwards broke through in the 1990s with the Denver band 16 Horsepower and achieved major success especially in France, Germany, and Scandinavia. His sound, a fusion of Gothic Americana, folk music, and religious intensity, has since inspired musicians in post-punk, metal, and experimental music. His later project Wovenhand cemented his reputation as one of the more respected names on the European live scene.

Now Edwards comes to Mejeriet with his second solo album, Mercurial Silence. The album continues to explore the themes and soundscapes that have defined his career - traditional roots music meets raw, experimental power.
