German experimental music group Einstürzende Neubauten performs at Parksnäckan.
Einstürzende Neubauten is a German experimental band formed in West Berlin on 1 April 1980, led by vocalist Blixa Bargeld. Their signature approach - building instruments from scrap metal, power tools and construction debris alongside conventional gear - helped define industrial music and influenced generations of artists across genres. Over four decades they have released more than a dozen studio albums, from the abrasive debut Kollaps (1981) to the fan-funded Rampen (apm: alien pop music) in 2024.
Josefine Lukschy was announced as the band's new bass player in March 2026, chosen through two rounds of auditions after joining from Berlin band Crashpad.
Einstürzende Neubauten confirmed a run of European festival dates for 2026, including stops in Brussels, Nantes, Den Haag, Leipzig, Barcelona, Thessaloniki, Plovdiv, Katowice and Uppsala.
Long-time bassist and multi-instrumentalist Alexander Hacke announced his departure from the band in April 2025, citing irreconcilable personal and professional differences.
The band released Rampen (apm: alien pop music), their latest studio album, in early April 2024, following a fan-supported recording process.
An autumn 2024 European tour under the name 'alien pop music' was announced alongside the Rampen album release, with concerts across multiple countries.
