Filth from Shelby deliver deathcore with hip-hop influences at Monument. Featuring support from XOXO and The Hate Project.
Filth is an American downtempo deathcore band from Shelby, North Carolina, founded in 2015 by guitarist David Gantt and vocalist Dustin Mitchell as a side project from their main band InVoker. The group fuses crushing, down-tuned breakdowns with hip-hop rhythms and rap-inflected vocals - a combination that has earned them tours alongside Lorna Shore, Chelsea Grin, and Slaughter to Prevail. Their 2024 full-length Southern Hostility broke them to a wider audience, and the 2026 EP Welcome to Shell Town - named after their Shelby hometown - marks their tenth year as a band.
Filth released their EP Welcome to Shell Town on March 6, 2026 via Crowdkill Records, a six-track project including covers of Drowning Pool, Limp Bizkit, and Disturbed alongside original material.
Filth announced a 10th anniversary headlining U.S. tour running from April 10 to May 3, 2026, with support from Resistor, Inferious, Two-Piece, and Monochromatic Black.
Filth headlined the Beasts of the East U.S. tour in March 2026, with Blackwater Drowning, Autumn Lies Buried, Comawaves, and Jawjacked as support.
Filth released a deathcore-infused cover of Drowning Pool's 'Bodies' featuring Nathan James, previewing the Welcome to Shell Town EP.
Filth served as direct support on King 810's U.S. fall tour alongside Tallah, launching in early November 2025.
