Freja Hallberg is a Stockholm-based playwright and director, and the founder of the stage Konträr. Her work blends humor, philosophy and existential situations, and is performed both in Sweden and abroad. The piece Bråk ran for several years to critical acclaim, while Monolog för telefon had 349 actors each call a member of parliament and deliver a monologue live over the phone.
