About
GA-20 is a blues trio from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 2018 by guitarist Matthew Stubbs - a longtime member of Charlie Musselwhite's touring band - alongside vocalist/guitarist Cody Nilsen and drummer Josh Kiggans. The band plays raw, stripped-back electric blues rooted in the Chicago sound of the 1950s and '60s, using vintage instruments and live-to-floor recording methods. Their studio albums have all debuted at No. 1 or No. 2 on the Billboard Blues chart, and they have won the Boston Music Award for Best Blues Act four times.
