Horacio Salinas

Horacio Salinas is a Chilean musician and composer who has led Inti-Illimani since 1968, shaping the group's sound across more than five decades. He wrote many of their best-known pieces and kept the ensemble together through years of political exile in Europe following Pinochet's coup. His work blends Andean folk traditions with broader Latin American influences.
