IAMX is the solo project of British musician Chris Corner, born in Middlesbrough in 1974 and best known as a founding member of trip-hop group Sneaker Pimps. Launched in 2004, IAMX blends dark electropop, synthpop and industrial with a strong visual and performance-art dimension - Corner writes, produces and directs everything himself. Over two decades he has released ten studio albums, from the debut Kiss + Swallow through to Fault Lines² (2024), and runs the project on his own independent label UNFALL Productions.
IAMX is currently on the Recollections Tour, a European run of festivals and Nordic headline shows from 31 July to 3 October 2026, billed as a best-of set spanning the full catalogue.
IAMX released IAMIXED: Reworks Fault Lines Albums 1 and 2 digitally on 22 May 2026, after it had previously been sold exclusively at the 2025 North American tour.
IAMX released the new single "Artificial Innocence" on 20 February 2026, ahead of the spring European Artificial Innocence Tour.
Fault Lines² debuted at number one on the Deutsche Alternative charts and held that position for six weeks after its August 2024 release.
IAMX made the UNMASK EP available worldwide on digital and streaming platforms in early 2026, having previously been sold only at the 2025 European tour.
