Jake Bugg (born Jake Edwin Charles Kennedy, 28 February 1994) is an English singer-songwriter from Nottingham whose self-titled debut album went straight to number one on the UK Albums Chart in 2012. Drawing on folk, blues and rock - with echoes of Dylan and early British rock - he built a devoted following across the UK and Europe through relentless touring. Now on his seventh album, Alamo (2026), he records as an independent artist for the first time.
