About

Jerusalem is a Swedish Christian rock and hard rock band founded in 1975 by Ulf Christiansson in Gothenburg, active ever since. They were the first Christian rock band in Sweden - and among the very first in Europe - to pair hard rock with openly evangelical lyrics, which made them deeply controversial in church circles at the time. Through relentless touring across Scandinavia, the US and beyond, they built a devoted following in the 1980s, with albums like Warrior (Krigsman) reaching audiences far outside Sweden. In 2023 they released Stygn, their tenth studio album and first record sung entirely in Swedish in four decades.
