Danish rock band D-A-D takes the stage at Stora Scenen on Liseberg. The group behind the classic Sleeping My Day Away showcases an extensive repertoire spanning over four decades.
Jesper Binzer (born 4 September 1965 in Copenhagen) is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the Danish hard rock band D-A-D, which he co-founded in 1982 under the original name Disneyland After Dark. The band broke through internationally with the 1989 album No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims and its single 'Sleeping My Day Away', and Binzer has fronted the group for over four decades. Alongside D-A-D, he has released two solo albums - Dying Is Easy (2017) and Save Your Soul (2020) - and remains one of the most recognisable figures in Scandinavian rock.
Jesper Binzer guested on 'King of the Sun', the third single from Danish death metal band BAEST's fourth studio album Colossal, released on 5 June 2025.
D-A-D released the live album Live From The Arena on Record Store Day (12 April 2025), documenting their sold-out 40th anniversary concert at Royal Arena in Copenhagen.
