About

John Summit (born John Walter Schuster, 1994, Naperville, Illinois) is an American DJ, producer and label owner who quit a CPA career at Ernst & Young in 2019 to pursue music full-time. His 2020 Defected Records single 'Deep End' became that year's longest-running Beatport No. 1, launching a rise that has taken him from clubs to headlining Coachella, Tomorrowland and Madison Square Garden. He runs the Experts Only label - SiriusXM Powertools Label of the Year for 2025 - and released his second album, Ctrl Escape, in April 2026.
