John Summit (born John Walter Schuster, 1994, Naperville, Illinois) is an American DJ, producer and label owner who quit a CPA career at Ernst & Young in 2019 to pursue music full-time. His 2020 Defected Records single 'Deep End' became that year's longest-running Beatport No. 1, launching a rise that has taken him from clubs to headlining Coachella, Tomorrowland and Madison Square Garden. He runs the Experts Only label - SiriusXM Powertools Label of the Year for 2025 - and released his second album, Ctrl Escape, in April 2026.
John Summit announced the Ctrl Escape North American arena tour, a 20-date run from October to December 2026 - his largest headline production to date.
His second studio album Ctrl Escape was released on April 15, 2026, on Experts Only/Darkroom Records, featuring collaborations with Feid, The Chainsmokers and Julia Wolf.
