About

Alesso (Alessandro Renato Rodolfo Lindblad, born 7 July 1991 in Stockholm) is a Swedish DJ and record producer specialising in progressive house. He broke through internationally around 2011 under the mentorship of Sebastian Ingrosso, and has since collaborated with Calvin Harris, Tove Lo, Martin Garrix, Katy Perry and Zara Larsson, among others. His 2014 single 'Heroes (we could be)' reached #1 on the US Billboard Dance chart and has accumulated nearly 850 million Spotify streams.
