Leonhard Paul is a Viennese trombonist and bass trumpeter, best known as a co-founding member of Mnozil Brass - the Austrian brass septet that has been selling out concert halls worldwide since 1992. Trained at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where he has held a professorship since 2005, he brings together classical rigour, jazz fluency and a sharp comedic instinct that defines the ensemble's stage persona. Outside Mnozil Brass he performs in the trio Wieder, Gansch & Paul and in the musical cabaret project Schlagertherapie.
