Malmö Symfoniorkesters

About

Malmö Symphony Orchestra (MSO) was founded in 1925 and is one of Sweden's four major professional symphony orchestras, based at Malmö Live Concert Hall since 2015. With around 90 full-time musicians from some 17 countries, the orchestra performs a new concert nearly every week and has built an international reputation through recordings on Naxos and Ondine - including a praised complete Beethoven cycle with former chief conductor Robert Trevino. British conductor Martyn Brabbins took over as chief conductor from the 2025/26 season.
