Swedish singer-songwriter Marit Bergman performs in Nyköping.
Marit Bergman (born Liv-Marit Bergman, 21 May 1975, Rättvik, Dalarna) is a Swedish singer-songwriter who broke through as a solo artist in 2002 after years in the punk band Candysuck. Her second album Baby Dry Your Eye (2004) debuted at number one on the Swedish albums chart and earned her two Grammis awards - Composer of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. She has released six solo albums, hosts the music programme Backstage med Marit Bergman on Sveriges Radio P4, and appeared on TV4's Så mycket bättre in 2023.
Marit Bergman performed live at Vreta kloster bryggeri in Ljungsbro and at Ekermanska Malmgården in Stockholm in August 2025.
Bergman toured southern Sweden with singer Ola Husamou under a Musik i Syd/Kronoberg programme, playing smaller towns beyond the major cities.
Bergman played Galejan Skansen in Stockholm in August 2024, performing songs including the 2024 single 'Vi bär alla barnen'.
Bergman appeared on TV4's Så mycket bättre (season 14), the same year she released her sixth album Här kommer vargen - her first new album in seven years.
The album Här kommer vargen was released in February 2023, Bergman's first Swedish-language album since Molnfabriken (2016).
