The Plan was formed by Theodor Jensen from Broder Daniel in the early 2000s. Songs like "Mon Amour" and "Let's Leave" established the band on the Scandinavian indie scene, and in 2002 they won a Grammis award as pop/rock group of the year.

In 2024 the band returned with the album Whatever Happens and a new line-up led by Theodor.

Gothenburg-born Theodor Jensen leads The Plan, the indie band he built from the ground up after leaving Broder Daniel - their 2001 debut went straight to number 2 in Sweden and earned a Grammis. The 2024 comeback album Whatever Happens marks the band's return with a new lineup.
