The Plan
Scandinavian indie band The Plan performs at Debaser Strand with a new line-up. The band made a comeback in 2024 with the album Whatever Happens.
Theodor Jensen (born 24 May 1974) is a Swedish musician best known as the founder and driving force behind the indie-rock band The Plan, which he formed in Gothenburg in 2000 after his time as bassist in cult band Broder Daniel. The debut album's lead single "Mon Amour" charted immediately on release in 2001, the album itself entered the Swedish charts at number 2, and the band won a Grammis for best pop/rock group. After years as a solo project, Jensen relaunched The Plan as a full band in 2024 with the album Whatever Happens.
The Plan released their comeback album Whatever Happens on 27 September 2024, recorded largely live with a new four-piece lineup.
Swedish music site Fokus Musik reviewed Whatever Happens, rating it 4 out of 6 and noting the band's return as a full group.
The Plan announced the new lineup - Johannes Nordell on drums, Andreas Eklöf on bass, Jesper Nordenström on organ, and Theodor Jensen on vocals and guitar - alongside the comeback single "Before the Sun".
The comeback was met with strong acclaim from both critics and fans, described as energetic live shows.
