American artist Masego performs his Fix Your Face Tour at B-K in Stockholm.
Masego (born Micah Davis, June 8, 1993, Kingston, Jamaica) is a Jamaican-American singer, saxophonist, and producer raised in Virginia who coined the term 'TrapHouseJazz' for his genre-blending mix of jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and soul. He writes, plays, and produces his own music - often building tracks live with a looper pedal - and broke through internationally with the 2016 FKJ collaboration 'Tadow', which has since surpassed 500 million YouTube views. His 2021 EP Studying Abroad: Extended Stay earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album, and his self-titled 2023 album received widespread critical acclaim from Pitchfork and Vogue.
Masego released the new single 'Breathe' via Island Records and announced his 40+ date 'Fix Your Face' world tour, his first major headlining run in nearly three years.
The 'Fix Your Face' tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off August 4 in Dallas and includes stops at Radio City Music Hall, The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and The O2 in London.
Masego is set to release a new studio project in summer 2026, with the Fix Your Face tour expected to feature material from it.
Masego returned to solo releases in 2025 with three singles - 'I Win', 'Unhinged', and 'Spin The Block' - his first solo material in two years.
Masego made his Kennedy Center debut in Washington D.C., performing at the Concert Hall on November 3, 2024.
