Yazmin Lacey is a British singer-songwriter born in East London and based in Nottingham, whose work sits at the intersection of neo-soul, jazz, lovers rock and R&B. She began performing in 2014 and built her reputation through her independent label Own Your Own Records, earning praise from Billboard, Fader and Pitchfork, who compared her to Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill. Her debut album 'Voice Notes' (2023) was widely acclaimed, and her sophomore record 'Teal Dreams' followed in October 2025.
