Mr. Belt & Wezol is a Dutch house duo from Delft, formed in 2013 by Bart Riem and Sam van Wees. Their sound is built on sample-based house that draws from disco, funk and classic 90s club music - reworking familiar hits into fresh dancefloor material. They won the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award at the International Dance Music Awards in 2016, and their 2024 single "It's Not Right But It's Okay" crossed 365 million streams on Spotify, making it one of the biggest Dutch house tracks of that year.
The duo released the single "Night Moves" with Karen Harding in 2026, their most recent collaboration.
An "Ain't Nobody" remix EP was released in February 2026 via their own The Cuckoo's Nest label.
Mr. Belt & Wezol released "Ain't Nobody", a house rework of the Chaka Khan classic, in 2025.
The single "Don't Stop Lovin'" was released in February 2025 via Sony Music Benelux/Arista Records, following up on their 2024 global hit.
"It's Not Right But It's Okay", a house remake of the Whitney Houston classic, became a global hit with over 182 million Spotify streams in its first year alone.
