Otis Sandsjö

About

Otis Sandsjö is a Swedish tenor saxophonist and composer born in Gothenburg in 1987, now based in Berlin. He came to wider attention through the Y-OTIS project - a trio with bassist/producer Petter Eldh and keyboardist Dan Nicholls - whose albums blend hip-hop, electronica and jazz into what the group calls 'liquid jazz'. His third Y-OTIS album, Y-OTIS TRE, was released in February 2024 on Helsinki's We Jazz Records.
