Peter Jöback (born 4 June 1971 in Stockholm) is a Swedish singer, actor and musical theatre star whose career spans pop, crossover and the international stage. He broke through in 1995 originating the role of Robert in Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus's Kristina från Duvemåla, and producer Cameron Mackintosh subsequently cast him in Miss Saigon and The Witches of Eastwick in London's West End. Jöback has played the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera on both the West End and Broadway, and most recently portrayed Jean Valjean in Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre in London - a role he then took on the Les Misérables: The Arena Spectacular World Tour. As a recording artist he holds multiple platinum certifications in Sweden and has sold over one million concert tickets across Scandinavia.
