About

Riga Tiger is a Swedish indie-pop band formed in Gothenburg in 2015, known for coining and championing the genre they call realismpop - songs grounded in everyday life, ordinary relationships and the small moments most pop music ignores. Since their 2017 debut they have released five studio albums and won the Manifestgalan award for Best Pop in 2022 for the album Vad ska du göra med din så kallade mänsklighet.

Riga Tiger's fifth studio album Med stor makt kommer stora fördelar is set for release on 25 September 2026, followed by the Realismpopen var aldrig död Tour 2026 with stops in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.
2023
In 2023 the band released their fourth album First day of spring för livet in book form rather than as a conventional vinyl or CD release.
2022
Riga Tiger won the Manifestgalan award for Best Pop in 2022 for the album Vad ska du göra med din så kallade mänsklighet.
