Sahara Hotnights is a Swedish rock band from Robertsfors in northern Sweden, formed in 1992 by four childhood friends - vocalist Maria Andersson, drummer Josephine Forsman and sisters Jennie (guitar) and Johanna Asplund (bass). Their garage rock and punk-driven sound broke through internationally with the album Jennie Bomb (2001), and they went on to score five top-ten albums in Sweden before going on hiatus after 2011. The band reformed in 2019, released their seventh album Love in Times of Low Expectations in 2022, and in 2025 were inducted into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame. Their eighth album, No One Ever Really Changes, came out in February 2026.
