Samuel Yirga is an Ethiopian pianist and composer from Addis Ababa who blends traditional Ethiopian music with contemporary jazz. He released his debut album "Guzo" in 2012 and has collaborated with artists including Mulatu Astatke. His playing moves fluidly between improvisation and deeply rooted African melodic traditions.
