Silvana Imam (born 1986 in Lithuania, raised in Sweden) is a Stockholm-based rapper and poet with Lithuanian and Syrian roots. She broke through with the album Naturkraft (2016), which won her a Grammis for Artist of the Year, and has since built a reputation as one of the Nordic region's most politically sharp and electrifying live performers. Beyond music, she has expanded into film - starring in the Venice-premiered Dogborn (2022) - and theatre, playing the title role in Hamlet at Stadsteatern in 2023.
Silvana Imam performed Naturkraft 10-year anniversary concerts in Stockholm and Gothenburg, combining decade-old classics with new material.
Her fourth studio album Tro was released on 31 January 2025, her first full-length record in six years.
She embarked on the 'Tro & Turné' Nordic tour in March 2025, her first tour in five years, covering seven cities across Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Silvana Imam made her theatrical debut in the title role of Hamlet at Stadsteatern in Stockholm, also co-writing and co-producing the music for the production.
She made her film acting debut in Dogborn, directed by Isabella Carbonell, which had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
