About
Sofie Birch is a Copenhagen-based Danish sound artist and composer who has been releasing ambient and electronic music since 2017. She builds her sound from analog synthesizers, field recordings, acoustic instruments and voice, and her work spans solo albums, live performance, animation film scores and art installations. She holds a degree in sound design from Sonic College and has performed at festivals including Roskilde, CTM, Unsound and Mutek. Since 2021 she has hosted the monthly Ambient Abracadabra show on NTS Radio.
