Solex is the solo project of Dutch musician Elisabeth Esselink, formerly a co-founder of V2 Records. Her music is built around chopped-up vinyl samples layered with guitar and vocals, giving it a distinctly lo-fi, collage-like feel. Her 1997 debut "Pick Up" brought her wide attention in indie circles.
