Suicide Commando | TBA@SekktorF
Belgian industrial electronic act Suicide Commando take the stage in Jönköping.
Suicide Commando is a Belgian electro-industrial project founded in Leopoldsburg in 1986 by Johan Van Roy, who writes and records all music solo while touring with a three-piece live band. Starting from raw EBM cassette tapes, Van Roy developed the trance- and techno-laced style later tagged 'aggrotech' or 'hellektro', and co-founded the influential Dependent label in 1999. With club anthems spanning four decades and albums charting in Germany, the project remains one of the most enduring acts in European dark-electronic music.
Suicide Commando released the anniversary compilation 'Collective Suicide Vol. 1+2' on June 5, 2026, available on CD, double vinyl, and a limited wooden fan box set of 200 copies.
Suicide Commando performed at Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig on May 22, 2026, as part of the band's 40th anniversary live programme.
The EP 'Final Stage' was released on July 18, 2025, featuring reworked versions of songs from the 1994 debut album 'Critical Stage' plus the first-ever Suicide Commando track 'De Weg' sung in Dutch.
Suicide Commando is marking its 40th anniversary throughout 2026 with a series of exclusive live shows and new releases.
The album 'Goddestruktor' (2022) reached number 9 on the official German album charts, the project's highest chart position to date.
