Susanna Alakoski is a Swedish author of Finnish descent who won the August Prize in 2006 for her debut novel "Svinalängorna". Her writing often explores working-class life and the history of Finnish migration to Sweden. Her latest book, "Sverigefamiljen", concludes the novel series that began with "Bomullsängeln" in 2019.
