The Neighbourhood is an alternative rock band from Newbury Park, California, formed in 2011 by vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Zach Abels and Jeremy Freedman, bassist Mikey Margott, and drummer Brandon Fried. Their 2013 debut album I Love You. went platinum and produced 'Sweater Weather', which hit No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart and has since crossed 4.6 billion Spotify streams - one of the most-streamed songs in the platform's history. After a three-year hiatus, the full original lineup reunited in late 2024 and released their fifth studio album (((((ultraSOUND))))) in November 2025 on Warner Records.
